![]() I saw her again this morning and asked politly if she would lesson the noise in the mornings, she said she would but i'm not holding any hope. She never says to me that she gets pissed off with our noise, so i dont think thats the problem. I'm a very quiet person at home normally, except from abit of loud music the only other thing that would cuase her concern is the darts board in the living room, but we never use this at unsociable hours. If she hasn't got alittle quiter this week then i will go into 0% respect mode for her and it will be open territory. The worst thing is that when ever she doesn't like something that we are doing, she tends to get her neandertholic son who lives next door to her to come and have a word, and i'm worried that if this happens again i might do something that i might regret, which is something i dont want to happen... ![]() I've been a good boy over the last 5/6 years and dont want to start loosing the plot with my temper again, but i have to say this really is testing me... | |

| *this in the opinion of Aceboy, it is not designed to incite a riot or any other of the normal slagging that takes place on the interweb "On the lanes no one can hear you scream" | |

My father in law does this when we visit, habitually wakes up at some godforsaken hour, can't get back to sleep so potters round doing housework. Doesn't hoover thank god but also doesn't realise how much noise cupboard doors and clattering in the sink makes. He's a lovely chap and not trying to annoy anyone, just doesn't realise how disruptive it is to those of us who would rather sleep past 6am. If she's in the habit of waking up early (and maybe a bit dippy/forgetful) all you can do is keep reminding her. Every day if need be. If you get arsey or turn it into a feud I can't see your life being any more peaceful. |
