    Default Dead ZZR600 E7

Red/Black dead ZZR600 E7. Engine probably seized. Had a low speed crash in London that put a small oil leak in the clutch case cover. Next day was ridden on motorway and it decided to dump its oil out at 90mph. Don't know why exactly. Oil light came on, it started to kangaroo, the clutch cable went slack so couldn't disengage engine and managed to put on hard shoulder before it spat me off. If try to turn it over it goes kchank-kchank-kchank . Now you know as much as I do about what's wrong with the engine. Basically I can't be bothered to do anything with it and want shot. Would need to be collected as I have no transport other than bike.

It has almost brand new tyres, less than 300 miles on 'em - Avon Azaro ST on front and Avon Storm ST on back. So that's a pair of ZZR wheels with new tyres on them plus a whole bike attached for £200. What a bargain!

I have a brand new unused battery for it as well!

    Other "features" include:
A quality chain that's done about 4000 or something
Very scuffed up fairing on right side
Slightly scuffed fairing on left side
Bar grips that are each slightly bent (basically it's been dropped on both sides!)
    Double bubble screen
    Hagon shocks

The bike had done over 70k before the catastrophe. All the other parts on the bike are absolutely fine (but possibly covered in oil ) - had replaced the reg/rec about 20k miles ago. It was kept well-serviced (workhorse - I don't own a car) and always started on the button so even if the engine is screwed fuel system, starter and electrics are all good.

If you've got a ZZR600 E model and want to have a huge store of spare parts then this must be considered . The tyres alone are worth a fair few quid. The slightly bent bars are pretty symmetrical so if you don't care about the scuffed up fairing this would be a prime candidate for a new lump, which can be got on ebay for <£300. That's assuming the engine is irreparable, and it may not even be so. Basically I live in flats with limited parking space, cash and time and it would be easier for me to just get rid of it as is.
