Default Mmmmmmm protein shakes... YUMMY

Today managed to get back into the gym and on the scales. Now sitting at 14st 2lb. Which considering i've always peaked at a low of 15st 2 i'm tremendously happy with.

As stated in other thread my target now is toning and definition. So the protein shake has now been kicked into action.

That and some spare chicken followed by raisins and i'm a happy boy till this evening.

It's great that something that actually tastes like McDonalds milkshake is good for you

Never quite managed any weights today as i'm still recovering from man-flu so was light cardio only for 40 mins. But should be in on the weights tomorrow.

This also means that i can stay off the dreaded scales now as the physical results are more important than the actual weight

In what context mate ? the actual components of it ? i'd have to look on my protein website.

The plan is to have it once a day (on training days) almost as a meal replacement for lunch. Using semi skimmed milk.

I'll dig out the full details on the webiste in a minute.

If your after an alternate tasty protien shake, which can be hard to find. I can vouch for Lucozade all in one, chocolate flavour. It's suprisingly tasty which is unusual for suppliments.

They are always having offers and I think I got 2 tubs for about £28.

All In One Powder ~ Lucozade Sport ~ Contains high quality protein which has been scientifically proven to help you build muscle mass and strength

I (occasionally) take Holland & Barrett whey protein (vanilla flavour).

It doesn't taste nice but I have it in water. Maybe I should try milk?

Lying outrageously on the internet since 2002.

I'm in an awkward place now as I started gym for general weight loss/tubbyness removal & support for wife as she didn't want to go alone for the first few times.I was 15st6lb after 7 weeks now 14st8lb.

Require muscle building/firming up on biceps/triceps chest & the usual flabby stomach...love handles area. All else back, legs, forearms, shoulders etc is tidy.

I work 4 on 4 of shifts the gym is open 9 a,m,-9 p.m. mon-fri & 10-1 sat & sun so training is sporadic I can hit 3/4/5 days in a row concentrating on different areas each day then not manage to go for a week & have then lost progress.

Thanks for replying.

Trust me, you'll soon get sick of the taste of them.

Be careful, not everyone is as honest as you'd think when it comes to protein content either.

Back in the day, EAS made some of the best stuff. I've got several friends who still train though who use myprotein.co.uk, and to be honest I probably would too if I ever manage to drag my fat arse back up to the gym.
