Default All about the TRC Shop

After almost 2 years of avoiding the subject when asked about it and almost 6 months of working out how to do it, I am pleased to announce that the TRC Shop is now open for business. You can find the shop at this internet address (this link is also on the homepage):

    Stuff from The Rev Counter

In the shop you will find a wide variety of both men's and women's good quality clothing products (no paper thin t-shirts here). The vast majority of these carry the TRC logo and the "antisocial networking for bikers" tag line.

It goes without saying that that some of you may not want the tag line, or would prefer some other text (i.e. a comedy slogan, your username etc). The good news is that just about every product in the shop can be customised. This means that you can personalise your item with whatever text you want or no text at all (removing the text also drops the price by a couple of quid). If that wasn't enough:
    • Most products are colour customisable, like the design but not on a white t-shirt? Change it to one of the other available colours!
    • There are over 20 different fonts to use for text and most support bold & italic
    • Text can be printed in a variety of different colours, including special effect colours such as gold metallic, glow in the dark and many more

All this means that there are literally thousands of different combinations of colours and layouts.

The logo itself is printed using a method called "Flex Print" in other words the print is actually heat printed rubber. This means that the print is extremely hard wearing and will not wash out. The image below is a picture of one items I bought from the shop to ensure the quality was up to standard:

As you can see my camera work skills are weak

Any text you add is also printed in Flex by default, however if you prefer you can also choose something called "Flock Print" - this is has a velvet texture as is equally hard wearing.

You can read more about the printing techniques employed by SpreadShirt here:

With the exception of creating the initial designs, the shop order & delivery service is entirely provided by Spreadshirt, when you order your item it is custom made for you and typically delivered within 5 to 7 days. Should you have any problems with order/delivery feel free to contact Spreadshirt helpdesk, while sorting out this shop I have spoken to them a few times and I can vouch for their helpfulness.

    Sizing Information.

L, XL, S etc can sometimes be fairly vague, to see more detailed sizing information open an item and look for a series of model pictures near the bottom. If you click these you will be show a page with details of actual measurements.

    A couple of other things.

As per the example image above, all logos on non-special edition items in the shop are red/black/white flex print. However it is possible to create create a flex or flock logo design that uses any of the colour combinations available. So if you want glow in the dark instead of white, or glitter pink instead of red, or something else then post the details in F&N and I will add a special edition item for you and maybe others to buy.

The items in the shop are sold with a small markup, this money go towards TRC running costs and helps to ensure the continued existence of the site.

You will also find a few comedy items in the shop, these are just there for the laugh - you know you will be irresistible if you have a TRC thong!

    Ahh yes, one other thing.

At the moment the shop doesn't contain any stickers, the main reason for this is that spreadshirt do not offer any decent sticker options. Suffice to say that stickers is the next thing on my "sort it out" list.

Ahh yes, one other other thing.

As mentioned above the TRC Shop is managed by Spreadshirt, I have simply added the designs - So if you have any questions relating to the products/order/delivery etc please send these directly to Spreadshirt:
